East & West Sides of PK Lake

  • The east side of the Possum Kingdom Lake area is located on the southeast area of the lake. It is approximately 30 miles northwest of Mineral Wells, Texas.
  • The west side of the Possum Kingdom Lake area is located on the northwest area of the lake. It is approximately 20 miles south of Graham, Texas.
  • The driving distance between the east and west side of the PK lake areas is about 45 minutes.

There are nearly 19,000 acres of clear, deep water to play in and plenty of places to launch and park your boat. The picturesque cliffs and 310 miles of shoreline offer shelter from the Texas winds for skiing, tubing and wakeboarding. At the same time there is plenty of open water for sailing and catching air on a personal watercraft.

Boat Rentals

There are several locations on Possum Kingdom lake where you can rent boats and personal watercraft. Contact the boat rental businesses for boat reservations and rates.

Note: ALL boat rental locations are located on the east side of PK lake.
