PK Lake Water Level & Open Boat Ramps

Currently at Possum Kingdom Lake, two of the BRA’s seven boat ramps (South D&D and North D&D) remain open. Workers will soon install temporary metal extensions to the Public Boat Ramp next to BRA Public Use Area #3. That ramp is expected to reopen in mid-May. Installation of temporary ramp extensions at Scenic Cove and Sandy Beach should allow those ramps to reopen soon. In addition, permanent concrete extensions are planned for Bug Beach, Scenic Cove, Sandy Beach, and North and South D&D as lower lake levels permit.

ARTE DE LOS BRAZOS Art Show and Sale

The 4th Annual Art Show and Sale will feature local artists work as well as wine tasting, seminars and a wine and design event.

The gallery will be open Saturdays 10am-4pm, Sundays 1-4pm and weekdays 2-4pm.

PKCC TRASH-OFF

Join us Saturday morning at 10am for the Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off annual event. This event encourages Texans across the state to join forces to clean up Texas roadsides. Millions of pieces of litter accumulate on our roadways this year alone, which means we need your help.

The Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off is the single largest one day cleanup event in the state and serves as Texas' signature event for the Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest community improvement program. The Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off is part of TxDOT's litter prevention program, which includes Don't Mess with Texas, Adopt-a-Highway, and a grassroots partnership with Keep Texas Beautiful.

Join us and be part of this great event. Your participation sends a message to Texans everywhere that the smallest efforts really do make the biggest difference. Take pride in the fact that you were part of making our great state beautiful! Join in on this event and help make a difference!

Meet at the PKCC building, pick up your bags and we'll assign you to an area along FM 2353.

The Easter Bunny Is Coming To Town!

easter_bunny Get the Easter baskets ready! The PK EGGSTRAVAGANZA is Saturday, March 30th, 3pm at the PKCC building.

The fun begins with coloring contest, egg count callenge, sweet treats and an egg hunt/scramble.

The PK Women's Club will have a bake sale at the PKCC chamber building from 1-4pm.
